Disabled Veterans Insurance Careers Announces Graduation Of Disabled Veteran Trainee

FORT MYERS, Fla. - July 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Disabled Veterans Insurance Careers (DVIC), the non-profit organization that helps train, educate and create meaningful employment opportunities within the insurance industry for disabled veterans, celebrated the graduation of Joanne Smith on June 30. Ms. Smith completed DVIC's insurance training program. The five-month program prepares disabled veterans with the knowledge and skills needed to embark on a customer service career in property/casualty insurance, with an emphasis on personal auto and homeowners lines.

"I am so happy for Joanne," stated Gary Bryant, president and CEO of DVIC. "She spent the last six months training and working toward the goal of completing the program, and she accomplished that. With her military training and insurance training combined, she has a very successful career ahead of her."

In fact, Smith's career is now underway, as she was recently hired by the Gary Green Insurance Agency, a State Farm agency in Fort Myers, thanks in part to her training from DVIC. If you would like to hire a disabled veteran with insurance training, please visit DVIC.us or call 239.209.1479.
