Follow on Google News | Pack Those Backpacks With Game ReadyIt's Time To Get Kids Game Ready for the Upcoming School Year
By: Game Ready Skills and Development That situation is simply unacceptable to Ricky Price, a former Duke and pro basketball standout and Founder of Game Ready Skills and Development. Game Ready has built its reputation as Charlotte's premier full-service basketball training academy by helping aspiring student athletes reach their full potential. So it was no surprise that Game Ready teamed with Covenant Presbyterian Church for The Pack the Backpacks School Drive. "Many children in the city of Charlotte struggle financially and can't afford school supplies. Our main objective is to do something about it!" noted Price. "Game Ready will donate pens, pencils, paper, notebooks and paper to children in two area schools in need – Highland Renaissance Academy here in Charlotte and Crossnore Elementary in Avery County. We are calling on any and everybody to join us and drop off any new, unwanted, or lightly used school supplies so that many underprivileged children will have a chance to be prepared to tackle the upcoming school year." You may drop school supplies off at Covenant Presbyterian Church's Recreation Wing, located at 1000 E. Morehead St. Charlotte, NC 28204 from now through August 22.
