FHR Appoints Douglas Duford as Director of Quality Management and Privacy Officer

Duford named head of quality improvement of multi-state behavioral healthcare organization

LINCOLN, R.I. - July 21, 2016 - PRLog -- FHR (Fellowship Health Resources, Inc.), a behavioral healthcare organization providing mental health and addiction services across eight states, has announced the appointment of Douglas Duford as its Director of Quality Management and Privacy Officer.

Duford brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a distinguished record in project development, strategic planning, and supporting those with mental illness and other disabilities in both the public and private sectors.

In his role, Duford will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of FHR's quality management and improvement programs, including the activities of risk management/safety, human rights, performance improvement, outcomes management, clinical documentation quality, HIPAA compliance, and accreditation and licensing readiness.

Prior to joining FHR, he served in a variety of leadership roles, including Program Manager at the State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services and Vice President of Residential Services at Key Service Systems, Inc. Duford has also worked in a number of direct care positions, assisting those with behavioral, emotional, and physical needs. He holds a BS in Psychology from Charter Oak State College.
