In being named this year's Best Train Experience, the D&SNGRR edged three other California-based scenic railroads: the Farm-to-Fork Cocktail Train in Sacramento; the Napa Valley Wine Train in Napa; and the Reno Fun Train and Sierra Scenic Train in San Francisco.
