Rackemann Promotes New Directors to its Family Law, Business and Insurance Practices

BOSTON - July 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster announced that David M. Friedman, Eric J. Gyllenborg and Stuart T. Leslie have been promoted to directors.

David Friedman's practice focuses on domestic relations matters including divorces, paternity actions, child custody matters, modification and contempt actions, and the drafting of prenuptial agreements.  David represents clients before probate and family courts across Massachusetts, as well asthe Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.  In addition, David assists clients in probate disputes, such as will contests and breach of fiduciary claims.  He graduated from Colby College and Suffolk University Law School, where he was a member of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review.  David joined Rackemann in 2010.  He will continue to serve clients in the firm's Family Law Department.

Eric Gyllenborg is a transactional lawyer handling general corporate, commercial lending, securities, finance, employment, and medical and technology transfer matters.  He also represents lenders and borrowers in all types of sophisticated financing transactions.  He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, cum laude, and Suffolk University Law School.  Eric joined Rackemann in 2008.  He will continue to serve clients in the firm's Business Department and Finance and Workout Group.

Stu Leslie focuses his practice on helping regulatory and business clients with insurance-related needs, including insurance receiverships, examinations, coverage disputes, and compliance. He represents insurance regulators, insurers, and commercial clients regarding insurance coverage, reinsurance, market conduct examinations and complex business litigation.  Stu graduated from Boston College and Boston College Law School, cum laude, and clerked with Justice Francis X. Spina of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. He joined the firm in 2007.  He will continue to serve clients in the firm's Business and Litigation Departments.
