Follow on Google News | Aug. 5: BMW of Tenafly to Hold "Drive for a Cause" to Benefit Giants of GenerosityPublic is Invited to Test Drive a BMW to Raise Funds for Those in Extreme Need through Dealership Donation
By: Giants of Generosity Drive for a Cause is a free national summer test drive tour for charity in which each BMW dealer selects a local organization to sponsor. Anyone interested in a test drive is asked to register online in advance to assure a slot at the desired time. The event is a competitive challenge against Mercedes-Benz and Lexus as a widespread effort to raise funds for local charities. "We thank BMW of Tenafly for all the support it has shown us over the years as a corporate sponsor of our signature Food & Wine fundraiser, and now with this additional support through Drive for a Cause," said D. Jane Albanese, GOG founder and president. "The people we help are dealing with devastating circumstances beyond their control. Enjoy a luxury test drive while helping us fulfill our mission; become a giant of generosity in the eyes of those we are able to help through your participation in this event." The organization will have a display table in the dealership showroom with information about its work in the community. "Anyone in the market for a new car, and is interested in a BMW, is encouraged to come in on August 5 to help us make a difference for others," said John Maher, general manager of BMW of Tenafly. "We are honored to support the work of Giants of Generosity." For more information about Giants of Generosity, visit www.giantsofgenerosity.org.
