GLDPartners Creates New Policy and Public Funding Practice - Eric Peterson to Lead
Today, GLDPartners announced the creation of a new Policy and Public Funding Solutions Practice and that Eric Peterson will act as its Policy and Solutions Advisor to its clients.
Eric brings a senior background in transport policy, project finance, infrastructure development, project management, regulatory affairs, congressional relations, and coalition building. Eric has an extensive knowledge of transportation, transportation policy and research, infrastructure, economic development and finance. Eric has held senior leadership roles in government and with various transportation advocacy organizations.
Eric has experience in the public and private sectors at all levels in the US and before various multi-lateral international organizations. Eric initiated, organized, and executed the creation of a P3 to fund and finance the first phase of the Washington Metro Rail's largest expansion since its inception. He has reorganized and established strategic plans for three federal agencies including all of the U.S. DoT's modal research programs, and has played an active role in obtaining reauthorization of numerous federal agencies including the U.S. DoT.
An active member of the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies of Science, Eno Center for Transportation, Transportation Research Forum and the American Public Transportation Association.
GLDPartners provides supply chain and public policy advice to global corporations and works on projects at and around seaports airports and strategic inland trade and logistics hubs. The firm is based in the US (Arizona),and with offices in Washington DC, Canada, Mexico and the UK.
