Physicians Can Now Earn ABIM MOC Points with The Medical Letter

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Physicians who participate in The Medical Letter's Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program can now earn American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points.
 
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - July 19, 2016 - PRLog -- The Medical Letter's CME Program is an added value for Medical Letter subscribers and is based on articles published in The Medical Letter on Drugs and Therapeutics. Participants can earn up to 2 MOC points with each issue (up to 52 points per year).

The mission of The Medical Letter's Continuing Medical Education Program is to support the professional development of healthcare providers including physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants by providing independent, unbiased drug information and prescribing recommendations that are free of industry influence. The Program content includes current information and unbiased reviews of FDA-approved and off-label uses of drugs, their mechanisms of action, clinical trials, dosage and administration, adverse effects, and drug interactions.

The Medical Letter CME Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
