Payne For Juvenile Judge Announces Ohio Civil Service Employees Association, Afscme Endorsement

CINCINNATI - July 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Darrell D. Payne, the Democratic Party endorsed candidate for Juvenile Court Judge in Hamilton County, is pleased to announce that Ohio Civil Service Employees Association, AFSCME Local 11 endorses him as candidate for Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge.

OCSEA represents approximately 30,000 state and local government employees in virtually every county across the state of Ohio.  From now until the election, they will be contacting their members and their families about the importance of this election, as well as promoting the endorsement of Darrell Payne for Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge.

Candidate Darrell Payne shares, "Our campaign slogan is 'Vote 4 Payne- A Champion for Children'.  I'm the Champion for Children because I'm compassionate about kids and my background demonstrates it.  I have over 20 years experience in the practice of law as a criminal defense attorney; I have over 20 years experience in social work; and I have been a social work educator at the graduate and undergraduate level for over 20 years.  I've worked in Juvenile Court as a Prosecutor, Probation Officer, and Public Defender.   I have served on numerous boards for various children's organizations around the city. I have also traveled to Haiti on three missionary trips to help build schools and group homes for underprivileged children. I have worked in all aspects of the juvenile system and understand the dynamics of juvenile court and its impact on children and families. Together we can build a Collaborative Community of Champions for Children that will engage individuals, families and agencies to form a winning alliance to help rehabilitate troubled youths and reunify families that pass through juvenile court."
