Flemington BMW Contributes To Flemington Area Food Pantry

FLEMINGTON, N.J. - July 15, 2016 - PRLog -- In conjunction with BMW of North America's Drive for a Cause, Flemington BMW has raised $1000.00 on a local dealership level and donated that amount to the Flemington Area Food Pantry. A check was presented to Gary White, Director of the Flemington Area Food Pantry on Thursday, July 7th.

"I am always happy to give back to our local community," said Steve Kalafer, Chairman of Flemington BMW and the Flemington Car & Truck Country Family of Brands. "BMW of North America challenged us to bring to light their BMW Drive for a Cause campaign and we delivered on that challenge in a big way. Our team at Flemington BMW has worked hard to raise money that would make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate."

From May through September 2016 BMW of North America has established a goal of raising a minimum of $1.5 million from all of its North American dealerships in order to support the US Olympic Team and local charities within communities across the United States. Local BMW dealers were urged to promote and schedule events in conjunction with this initiative and asked consumers to "Take a Test Drive and Make a Difference."

We've invited our customers to lend a helping hand in supporting the Flemington Area Local Food Pantry," said Byron Brisby Jr., General Manager at Flemington BMW. "With every test drive taken during our Special Summer event which was held at our dealership on Saturday, June 25^th we were able to set aside these dollars and contribute to a cause near and dear to our heart.
