The National Children's Cancer Society Awarded $21,000 Grant from Centene

 
ST. LOUIS - July 14, 2016 - PRLog -- The National Children's Cancer Society (NCCS) was awarded a $21,000 grant from Centene Charitable Foundation.

The grant was awarded in support of the organization's Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program which awards college scholarships to childhood cancer survivors who have demonstrated the ability to overcome the difficult challenges of cancer with determination and motivation. Forty (40) $3,500 scholarships are awarded each academic year. To date, the program has awarded over $650,000 in scholarships to childhood cancer survivors across the country.

"The NCCS is extremely grateful to Michael Neidorff and Centene for their extraordinary generosity to the organization.  This grant will make a positive difference in the lives of survivors and their futures," said Mark Stolze, NCCS President and CEO.
