ST. LOUIS - July 14, 2016 - PRLog -- There's a new youth wrestling club in St. Louis opening its doors this month at 1800 S. Broadway in Historic Soulard, with the mission to train the next generation of youth wrestlers. wreSTL is a nonprofit year round youth wrestling club aimed at making a difference in the lives of 5th-8th graders in underserved wrestling areas, namely the city of St. Louis. wreSTL will provide outstanding wrestling opportunities for the youth of the community in St. Louis city.

"The city of St. Louis needs wrestling and wrestling needs St. Louis. Wrestling teaches you how to handle adversity while building a critical foundation in physical, mental and ethical skills." Sara Levin, President of wreSTL. "wreSTL will reintroduce an important character building sport in a city with a rich tradition of wrestling and Olympic history. It is time to bring wrestling back to the city of St. Louis, to mentor our young boys and girls into men and women who give back to their community."

The facility is located in the heart of South City St. Louis' famous Soulard neighborhood, an economically and culturally diverse area that is easily accessible from bus lines and highways. The training facility will aim to be open Monday through Thursday at 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, supervised by the wreSTL administrator.
