By: Hilliker Corporation Wortman-Fortner, LLC has placed under contract two acres at the northwest corner of Highway 100 and Huxel Dr. in Washington, Mo. The development will include a Jack Flash convenience store and gas service station, as well as the possibility of a fast food chain restaurant. The store will be approximately 8,000-square- James Fortner of Wortman-Fortner said this is the second project by the company, which is currently working on building a new Jack Flash store in Jefferson City, Mo. Fortner has four of his own stores in Missouri including the Liquor Cabinet in New Haven, Northside Quik Stop in Union, Quik Corner in Gerald, and Everyday Convenience in Jefferson City. Hilliker Corporation broker Scott Martin represents the seller, River City Center. He also is handling the marketing for the sale of a 1.81 adjacent acre lot, as well as the 8.11 acres on the east side of Highway 100 and Huxel. Hilliker Corporation, which targets regional and national entrepreneurs, is St. Louis' largest locally owned independent commercial real estate company located at 1401 S.
