PRLog -- HerTube TV posted a casting call for women who wanted to share their boyfriend stories a few months ago. 92 women answered the call and 9 were chosen. The Boyfriend Monologues is a compilation of short video stories from women around the world who wanted to share something about a current boyfriend, past boyfriend or a boyfriend they wished they had. This is the first original web series co-produced by HerTube TV. HerTube is an Internet TV network focused on creating content about women and what women care about. The company was founded in 2013 by Audrey Bell-Kearney. Audrey got the idea for HerTube after attending a film festival are realizing that distribution was a problem for some independent filmmakers. Audrey had produced a mini documentary back in 2008 and knew that distribution shouldn't be a mystery with all of the available technology. Her documentary RISE: An Entrepreneur Journey To The Top sells on Amazon. She took her experience of self-publishing and producing and launched HerTube TV. HerTube is now partnering with filmmakers to help them with distribution across the HerTube Network. One partnership we are really happy with is the one with Demedrius Charles who is a filmmaker out of St. Lucia. We now have two of his films on HerTube states Audrey. There is also a filmmaker out of Nigeria named Elisha who has agreed to produce a documentary for HerTube about a woman who saw an opportunity to turn Mangos into a thriving business for her and her family. These partnerships and The Boyfriend Monologues are just the beginning of programs that will be produced for and by HerTube. We have a slate of programs that we want to produce. We already have films, movies, talk shows and on demand trainings on the network, but animation, virtual and augmented reality are somethings that we are looking at now. The future looks bright for HerTube. Right now there is an online subscription portal for customers to subscribe to the network. We also have apps on Roku, IOS, Android, Amazon and some select Smart TVs. Our reach is 52 countries around the world. We are looking forward to creating more content that empowers, educated, enlighten, encourage and entertains our viewers.
