Smith Insurance working with Webster waterfront homes

WEBSTER, N.Y. - July 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The Gerard P Smith Insurance Agency was founded

by our namesake, Gerard Smith, in 1966 from his

home on Judson Street in the village of Webster.

Gerry has six sons, all of whom went through the

Webster School District and five of whom live in

Webster today. Gerry's oldest son, Tom, is the current

CEO of Smith Insurance along with his brother,

Kevin, who is the Vice-President. Tom's son, Ian,

is the President and 3rd Generation owner of the

agency. Ian is married to his wife Jamie and has a

3-year-old daughter, Kennedy. As of this magazine's

delivery, he will also have a newborn baby!

Ian attended grammar school right here in Webster

and went off to SUNY Fredonia where he studied

Economics and captained the soccer team. After

school, Ian worked for LogicalSolutions.net, a website

development, marketing and hosting company

and Plan Your Legacy, a financial services software

company in roles ranging from sales to internet

marketing manager.

Julie is the Director of First Impressions at the agency and says,

I love the friendly family like atmosphere. We all say hello and

good bye, every day, like you would if you were at a party. I could

go on and on, but the fact that I have been here for 18 years really

tell its own story.

Smith Insurance is a property and casualty agency that provides

both business and personal insurance. The personal side of the

business includes homeowners, auto, umbrella, cottage, boat, RV

and life insurance, among other various products. The business

insurance side of the agency provides comprehensive liability,

property, disability, workers compensation and more to a wide

range of businesses from contractors, manu-facturing, restaurants,

service, doctor's office and real estate.

With 23 team members and hundreds of years of experience in our

office, we are small enough to provide our clients with a personal

touch and one on one service, but experienced enough to advice our

Ian says, it is imperative that residents are up to date on their

coverages and are conducting annual (at least) reviews with their

agent. Our lives change quickly and it is important that our insurance
