Meet the Revolutionary Revo Chandelier!

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - July 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The Revo Chandelier, Matthew Shively's newest lighting creation, revolutionizes the rules of geometry and form that have long been part of basic lighting design. Taking inspiration from antique chandeliers, he modifies this classic form by interpreting curves and ornate ornamentation as straight lines and facets of a gem, obscuring the lines between classic form and progressive contemporary style. In addition, the light origin was placed to emulate rays growing outward, projecting its inner beauty.

"I love immersing myself in the timeless beauty of classical forms then breaking them apart to create a prevailing progressive form," says Shively.

Matthew Shively began showcasing his contemporary design for private clients in Lexington, KY until his interest shifted to the creation of original, defining pieces of luxury contemporary furniture and lighting elements for the home. He was honored by Interior Design Magazine with a best of year nomination and honoree award in 2011.

The LED-based Revo Chandelier is hand crafted from cast bronze in his Port Chester studio.
