NFL Stars Return Home To Philly To Coach Pee-wee Team Where They Started

-- More than 100 Philadelphia area pee-wee football players are gearing up for the most anticipated camp in recent history. NFL football stars, and Philadelphia natives, Nick Moody and Brandon Bing will hold "Futures Football Camp" this Saturday July 16th from 9 a.m. - Noon at Alverthorpe Park located at Forest Ave & Fox Chase Rd in Jenkintown, PA. The camp is for members of the Abington Raiders Pop Warner football organization, the team where both Moody and Bing once played their first organized football game.
"It's an honor to return to my old stomping grounds and have the opportunity to work with aspiring, young football players in my hometown," says Moody who once played running back for the Abington Raiders before graduating from Roman Catholic High School and Florida State University. "I see myself in them and hope to share my skills learned in both football and life." Moody went on to play for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.
"Mentoring young football players in my hometown is an awesome opportunity,"
says Bing who played defensive back for the Abington Raiders and graduated from Cheltenham High School and attended Rutgers University. "I hope the hours spent will have a positive influence not only on their football skills, but life in general." Bing last played for the New York Giants and won the Super Bowl in 2012.
Baltimore Ravens safety Terrance Brooks and other NFL football players will also be on hand to assist with the camp. Saturday's "Futures Football Camp" is free and exclusive for Abington Raiders registered players ages 7-14. The media is welcome to attend and advance interviews are available.
