Petco Foundation Invests in Lifesaving Work of National Mill Dog Rescue
National Mill Dog Rescue, with headquarters in Peyton, Colo., today announced it has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support its efforts to prepare rescued puppy mill dogs for adoption.
The Petco Foundation investment will help to cover the costs of veterinary examinations, vaccinations, spay and neuter surgeries, microchipping, treatment for severe dental disease and a multitude of other necessary procedures, including mammary tumor removal, hernia repairs and eye and ear procedures.
"We are incredibly proud to be recognized by the Petco Foundation through the award of this generous grant, which will help as many as 30 of our precious survivors get all the care they need to make them adoption-ready,"
