LAS VEGAS - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Since 2009, Hobak Korean BBQ has served up traditional Korean food in a warm, friendly atmosphere all over South Korea. The popular internationally-known restaurant franchise, fondly known among Korean's as a place for "Sharing Great Things" and Pumpkin logo (Hobak means Pumpkin in Korean), is now open in Las Vegas. Located at 5808 Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown,  Hobak Korean BBQ has become a popular destination for locals and tourists since opening in April 2016. The restaurant offers excellent meat quality, exceptional service with a hip and cool ambiance that promotes Korean culture.

         Hobak Korean BBQ General Manager Ryan Kwon explains the keys for success in Las Vegas, a city known for great restaurants. "We are targeting a younger generation of diners that are more adventurous when it comes to Asian culture and food experiences, as well as their parents. We also want to educate non-Korean customers on the cuisine."

         Hobak Korean BBQ is legendary for it's delicious BBQ, of course. Tender and juicy marinated beef and pork, cooked over both charcoal and gas flames by a server right at your table! The story of Hobak Korean BBQ can be traced to the culturally-rich country of South Korea. Hobak Family, Inc was founded by noted Chef and Owner Chi Heon Kim. Since opening the first Hobak Korean BBQ in 2009, the company now has 16 directly operated stores with eight franchises in Korea under eight different brands.

         The Las Vegas franchise, the first in the United States, is a collaboration of Hobak Family, Inc. Ted and Jay Kim, Chef/Owner of Hobak Korean BBQ Las Vegas. Kim is also the Chief Executive Officer of Hobak Family USA.

         To help him grow the restaurant franchise and brand in Las Vegas, Kim has assembled a team consisting of his brother, Ted Kim, Vice President and Kwon, his General Manager. Together, they are working on building the reputation of Hobak Korean BBQ in Las Vegas with future plans to open franchise and Corporated-operated locations in the U.S.
