Bay Area Woman Business Owner Opens Her Business and Home to Entrepreneurs of War-Torn Countries

Oklahoma City based non-profit, Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women's (IEEW) PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® program has brought 30 women entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and Rwanda to the United States for global mentorship for the past 10 years.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Both ladies will spend the week meeting with Akraya executives and employees, learning new business best practices she can apply to her own businesses when she returns home. They will take tours of some of Silicon Valley's tech campuses and participate in informational interviews with high-level executives. Additionally, they will have other networking opportunities attended by influential Bay Area businesswomen. The week will close out with an ice cream social celebration at Akraya's Santa Clara headquarters
