Silveus Insurance Group Announces New Director of Agency Services

WARSAW, Ind. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Silveus Insurance Group (http://www.silveuscropins.com/), the nation's largest independent crop insurance agency, announced today that Tom Legner will now serve as the director of sales.

Legner worked at Cargill Crop Insurance LLC prior to the acquisition (http://www.silveuscropins.com/cargill-crop-insurance-agency/) by Silveus Insurance Group in January, 2016. Since that time, Silveus Insurance Group has accelerated growth and fueled additional innovation for farmer clients.

Prior to joining Silveus Insurance Group, Legner worked at Lucent Technology as a business analyst and planner for the North American region and most recently led the national crop insurance business for Cargill for 8 years. Having worked at Cargill for a total of 12 years, Legner served in a number of roles including the dedicated 2014 Farm Bill expert for the entire enterprise. He currently holds a Series 3 License and is affiliated with the Crop Insurance Professionals Association (CIPA) and the American Association of Crop Insurers (AACI). A father of three, Legner still operates his family farm in Dwight, Ill.
