Essential Oils company Ovvio Oils renames its popular germ- fighting blend

MCLEAN, Va. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Ovvio International LLC, a Washington State based family-owned company selling essential oils, blends, and other natural products, announced changing the name of their product Thief Plus Protection Blend to Strength Plus Protection Blend. No changes have been made to the formula.

"We are pleased to announce that we are changing the name of Thief Plus to Strength Plus to better align it with the expectations of this great product. Everything that makes this product great and a cut above its competitors remains the same," Steven Koinis, owner of Ovvio Oils, said.

Ovvio Oils had introduced its own version of the 'Four Thieves Vinegar' or "Marseilles Vinegar', a formula believed to have stunted the spread of the bubonic plague that had swept across Europe in the 1700s. The formula, launched in May last year, contains nine essential oils, which include the core ingredients from the legendary concoction.

Strength Plus Protection blend contains essential oils of cinnamon bark, cassia, clove bud, lemon, rosemary, eucalyptus, peppermint, cajeput, and frankincense. It claims to purify the air by eliminating bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It also helps strengthen the immune system, which in turn increases the body's ability to naturally fight disease and infections.

The Four Thieves Vinegar legend:

According to the legend, the 'Four Thieves Vinegar' or the 'Marseilles Vinegar' was used to stave off infection and disease during the 1700s when the Bubonic Plague hit the French city of Marseilles. According to one story, four thieves went around the town stealing from the dead bodies; however, they did not contract the disease. This potent concoction was attributed with protecting them from the infection.
