The 8th Annual Block Buster Music Awards show returns this month

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- First Choice Gospel (FCG) Records President John Smiley  announced  months ago that the "Block Buster Music Awards " would return. And now for the eighth year in a row that time is just around the corner. The 8th Annual Block Buster Music Awards will be presented at the Millerviller Community Center in Goodlettsville, TN, 1181 Louisville Highway.  This two day celebration is set for July 29-30, 2016.  The televised show will showcase some of this year's hottest independent and national gospel recording artist.

"We're discovering the some of greatest gospel singers of all times brought to you by FCG Records," states Smiley. The lineup of artist include The New Silver Stars, Febe Johnson-Jackson & The Chosen Ones, Da Nu Mighty Supremes, Tony Howard And The Voices, The Southern Gospel Singers, Voncile Belcher and more. In 2007, the Blockbuster Show Case was first organized. John Smiley aspired to work on a vision that was put inside of him by God. Some of the first show case artists were Lisa Knowles and the Brown Singers, Mark Williams, Veronica Petrucci, Dexter Sapp, Janeal Johnson, Songstress D Johnson, and Faith Unscripted. The Blockbuster Show Case started out very small in a local church. Then, it began to grow so large that it went from a small local church to a mega church. Yet, in 2016, we are going to a facility that caters to large groups; because in 2013, we attracted over 47 performers from independent to mainstream.
