Introducing SurgeXLR in Silicon Valley and New York

A new kind of accelerator that is breaking the Silicon Valley model to help our founders fast-track growth and success.

PALO ALTO, Calif. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Introducing SurgeXLR, a new kind of accelerator that is breaking the Silicon Valley model to help our founders fast-track growth and success, building business from the ground up.

Our goal is simple:  supporting founders to create viable businesses that attract investors and provide exit strategies.

SurgeXLR evaluates the strengths and needs of each business and fills in the gaps with knowledge, network connections and funding.  No matter the pain points, we have experts on staff to advise or step into roles accordingly.  No co-working space.  No vacation home.  No distractions.  Building strong and equitable businesses is not magic; it is a lot of hard work.

SurgeXLR was founded to help businesses scale quickly in an authentic fashion without giving away control and precious equity along the way.  With over 40 years of experience, founders Maryanne Morrow and Nathaniel John-Grose understand how to build foundational businesses, and the work and finesse it takes to make it happen.

CEO and Founder, Maryanne Morrow spent 18 years working in Boston in institutional finance (AXA, Standard & Poor's and BNP Paribas Asset Management).  Upon moving to California in 2010 for a life without snow, she led the custom content effort at Dow Jones and then the financial advertising category or The Wall Street Journal.  She was educated at Cornell University-Material Science Engineering, LeMoyne College-Finance, and Whittier College-Law.  Always learning, she continues her studies at Stanford with Angel Investing and Financial Modeling & Funding Strategies.

Although Founder, Nathaniel John-Grose, is the New York face of SurgeXLR, he grew up in West Virginia and attended college at the University of Maryland where he acquired a bachelor's degree in sociology.  Since then, he has gained rich experience in digital marketing, strategy and advertising through his affiliations with Hearst, Dow Jones, DIRECTV, MOAT and MaxPoint.  He met Maryanne while working at The Wall Street Journal and has lived in NYC for over 10 years.  He is currently working on fine-tuning his Spanish to focus on the expansion of SurgeXLR to Latin America.

SurgeXLR is headquartered in Silicon Valley at 555 Bryant Street, Suite 278, Palo Alto, CA 94301.  The NYC division of SurgeXLR is located at 457 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019.  The website is SurgeXLR.co.
