It's Rickiah!: America's New Face of R&B/Pop

MOULTRIE, Ga. - July 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Her Biggest Inspiration:

Rickiah fell in love with music at the tender age of three when her father Rick Tomblin, a producer and engineer introduced her to music. Since, she's been recording and writing her own music. She stated her father is her biggest inspiration. When she was younger he would always have his baby girl at his side showing her all the in's and out's to music. When she was much older her father gave her the opportunity to express her inner voice and from that moment she enjoyed it and been involved in music ever since.

"My dad is my biggest inspiration for music. He never gave up on doing what he loves and is passionate about. He kept going and never looked back. He believed in me and believed I could do the same thing."    ~ Rickiah

Purpose:

Now, 13 years old, she's set to conquer the world with music that not only influences the young generation but the old as well. Her sound is different catchy and mature. She's not your typical teenager to write about love and romance. Rickiah opens up on more important issue related to her community, peers and world. Even with her latest single, "I WILL," she touches on emptiness, pain and deep inner feelings that anyone her age and beyond could imagine.

Music Writing:

Rickiah started writing her own music at the age of seven. In her earlier years of writing she made up lyrics to her father beats. She stated she used her imagination and went from there creating lyrics that were mean-ful and promising. As she grew older she started learning more and more about music, life and all around situations. She felt if she did not write her own music that her audience would not know the real her.

Giving Back:

On her spire time Rickiah gives back to her local community by volunteering at her church. She joins the rest of members at food banks to give to the needy. She also dedicates her time at her local Boys and Girls Club helping kids with their reading skills. Rickiah also loves to read books on her free time, and interact in outdoor sports like basketball, trampoline jumping and of course listening to her favorite artist.

Influences:

Rickiah have her favorite and if she could work with any artist it would be the likes of Justine Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato. She says these artist inspires her more because of their struggles and life situations.

In five years…

In the next five years Rickiah see's herself known by many from all over the world. her biggest accomplishment would be to have a great influence her generation and generations of all ages. She understands her goals requires a lot of work and willing to do whatever it takes to reach them.
