Golden Lion Cafe Earns Top Beach Bar Awards/Schedules Award Presentation Celebration

PALM COAST, Fla. - July 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Christopher Marlow, Managing Director of the Golden Lion Café, is pleased to announce that they have once again been voted a Top Beach Bar for the fifth year in a row, and the number one Beach Bar on the East Coast of Florida for the second year in a row by FloridaBeachBars.com. They have scheduled an awards presentation celebration for July 22^nd at 8:00pm when FloridaBeachBar.com will present the award to the restaurant.

"This year's voting was the most competitive ever, with an increase of over 8,000 votes from last year", said Ryan Conroy, owner of FloridaBeachBar.com.  Nearly two hundred of Florida's beach bars received votes from over 23,000 online voters. This isFloridaBeachBar.com's 6^th annual Top 10 Florida Beach Bar competition. Votes were combined with FloridaBeachBar.com's beach bar ratings to create the winning list.

"We are honored to be voted number one in such a small market compared to larger cities such as Tampa or Miami," said Chris Marlow, co-owner of the Golden Lion Café. The awards presentation celebration will be held on Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at 8pm at the Golden Lion Café located at 501 North Oceanshore Blvd, in Flagler Beach. There will be a confetti blast, fireworks at dark by Santore & Sons, a jet fly over by Bill Mills of Blue Sky Yakrobatics, giveaways from Corona Beer, FloridaBeachBar.com, and the Golden Lion. Nationally recognized local photographer AJ Neste will be on hand to document the event and Brighthouse Networks will be filming for a future TV commercial. There will be live music with Island Rock Band "HIGHWAY 1" from Cocoa Beach and more!
