Welded Steel Sculpture Made From Bedsprings


Jack Price, an 83 year old Air Force veteran and native resident of Arizona, has continued his craft of welding up masterpiece sculptures in his garage, despite the daytime temperature hovering at an average of 108 degrees.  The real news here is that Jack makes his sculptures from discarded metals such as hay baling wire and old bedsprings.  Here, Jack makes the sculpture of a  Longhorn Bull from bedsprings he retrieved from the local dump.

Jack's gallery of sculptures includes sculptures of bulls, eagle, elk, seal,  moose bighorn rams, with each original made from either baling mwire, old bedsprings, or, as was the case with the horse and cowboy roper, old brass faucets.

Jack's eldest son, Mark, makes a silicon rubber and plaster mold from the original steel sculptures created by Jack and casts a limited edition of bronze sculptures which they sell from their website:
