Physical Therapist and Actor - ADRIAN MIRANDA - Drops by the GingerNewYork TV Show in NYC

NEW YORK - July 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Adrian Miranda: is a native New Yorker who grew up in Washington Heights Manhattan and graduated Ithaca College in 2006 with a degree in physical therapy. Adrian grew up playing and loving sports but fell into the arts accidentally in college where he started dancing. Then in 2012, he found theater. Adrian Miranda performs with a group called the Heights Players in Brooklyn, NY. After learning a lot on stage and learning more about voice, he realized he had so many stories to share from his patients in the clinic that he could share with the rest of the world in order to help people improve their physical health.

Adrian Miranda has performed "A Chronic Line" at the Duplex NYC and Manhattan Repertory Theatre. The show illustrates the personal tribulations of four patients going to physical therapy. The stories in the show are based on actual events encountered by Adrian Miranda as a physical therapist. He wrote the music in order to convey the emotional toll the pain caused in the characters personal lives. The shows characters, of which Adrian plays all, suffer from arthritis, low back pain, concussion and post cancer side effects.

Adrian is a physical therapist at Windsor physical therapy in Brooklyn, and is a part-time faculty at TOURO College in Bayshore Long Island where he is the director of clinical residency education where he educates physical therapists to become orthopedic specialists. He also works for BRIC TV as a co-host of a TV Show called "Check Out The Workout", that takes you to different places in Brooklyn to workout such as Capoeria Brooklyn and The GymParkour, to name a few.  In 2015, he worked for the New York Public Library giving talks at the local branches about Injury prevention and health.

Adrian Miranda is also a volunteer in the NYC Medical Reserve Corp where he spent time at the Park Slope Armory YMCA assisting during Hurricane Sandy. Mr. Miranda also sits on the Board of Operation Exodus, a Christian non-profit organization that helps underserved children in Washington Heights to get a better education. Adrian went through the program himself as a child and credits their tutoring Saturday's with exposure to music. Adrian is also a contributor to media in regards to injuries.
