Formerly, Davis served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he was the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Coordinator for the District, and as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. After a dozen years in public service, Davis worked as Managing Director in Business Intelligence and Investigations at Kroll Associates where he focused on computer protection, data breaches and the theft of international property. Most recently, he was the principal of his own law firm. In his government career, Davis investigated and tried a wide spectrum of fraud, money-laundering and other cases before focusing on the challenges of cybercrime as a federal prosecutor.
