Local Financial Advisor Asked to Speak at the Beth Sholom Prevent Elder Abuse Community Program

ROANOKE, Va. - July 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Will Cosby, a Financial Advisor at Hermitage Wealth Management recently spoke at a community program called "Mom & Her Money". This program was presented through the Beth Sholom Prevent Elder Abuse Program, which is supported by IMPACT GRANT from the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond. Beth Sholom Lifecare  Center hosted the event.  The program focus was to help educate attendees on important financial matters for their retirement years. Topics included understanding financial accounts, credit reports, wills, funeral expenses and arrangements, and organizing data such as credit cards, insurance policies and Social Security.

The Federation recently awarded the Beth Sholom Lifecare Center a grant of $45,100 for the second year of the program. The Beth Sholom Elder Abuse Program will also hold a Health Fair this fall focusing on all aspects of elder abuse.
