The 7 on 7 Bowl is the center of the FOOTBALL UNIVERSE!

DURHAM, N.C. - July 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Over one hundred 7on7 games, Lineman Challenge, Long Snapping, Punting, and Kicking competitions, Coaches Workshop, Recruitment Workshop and more will take place in Durham, North Carolina ( Hillside High School / North Carolina Central University ) on July 15th & 16th as three thousand of the nations top High School and youth athletes compete at the NYFO 7 on 7 National Championship also referred to as the 7 on 7 Bowl.  www.The7on7Bowl.com

National Youth Football Organization, various businesses, chambers of commerce, media outlets, and community organizations join forces to run the National 7 on 7 Championship on the 3rd weekend of July each year. The 7 on 7 National Championship aids the sports community in improving its commitment to promoting high school and youth football.  The NYFO 7 on 7 National Championship is the premier football event for athletes ages 8 - 18.  Annually various players and coaches from NCAA & NFL, participate and support this event.

Organizers of the 7 on 7 National Championship follow the example of similar tournaments in other states which have a healthy impact on the local economy. The "big" sister tournament in Texas has approximately a $1 million impact on its local economy during its 3 day event.  Last year the tournament had over 2,000 athletes, 300+ high school coaches and their families and fans. The local economy feels the impact and the organizers are excited about the future.

This year's tournament guarantees each team 6 games. Varsity teams are separated in four divisions, while JV teams and 15U, 13U, 10U and 8U teams will have only one division each. To promote team and state unity, the tournament also includes the National Championships for:  1) Kicking, 2) Punting, 3) Long-Snapping, and a 4) Lineman Challenge. The weekend also includes other activities for players and fans.

The NYFO 7 on 7 National Championship is an open invitation for any football team in the United States of America & Canada of all divisions.  Several teams have already signed up for the tournament as to not miss out on the tournaments 75-team cap. The 7 on 7 National Championship committee is a division of the (National Youth Football Organization) and a compilation of advocates committed to excellence for players, coaches, and families involved with the sport of football.
