Huge TRUMP Painting Dominates 'Art Of Politics' Show At Politicon 2016 In Pasadena California

ELMIRA, N.Y. - July 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Politicon 2016 on June 25/26th was held at the Pasadena Convention Center in California.  The huge, nearly eight by sixteen foot visionary Trump painting 'Unafraid And Unashamed' by New York Artist Julian Raven hung prominently at the controversial political art show 'The Art Of Politics'.

The Obama painting 'Hope And Change' by street artist Shepherd Fairey hung across from the massive Trump painting connecting only on the level of it being one of the few positive images at the show.  Yosi Sergant, the show's curator and inspiration behind the 'Hope And Change' painting invited artist Julian Raven to show the Trump painting due to its positive nature since it too embodies a vision of hope for the future.  'Unafraid And Unashamed' was hung in the place of honor at Politicon in the gallery at the Pasadena Convention Center, 'the hero wall' as Sergant called it.  It was the first thing you saw upon entering the art show.

Other works at Politicon's art show included art by conservative street artist Sabo who left no candidate unscathed with his scathing rendition of their flaws and weaknesses.  Even the offensive and demagogic nude Trump painting by Illma Gore, which was hung next to the massive Trump painting wilted in the presence of such a monolithic piece of art.

Polticon 2016's art show 'The Art Of Politics' was a perfect political art platform for the Trump painting to be shown.  Thousands of people, celebrities and media strolled through the gallery as well as through Democracy Village in between the vast assortment of political debates, speeches and comedy acts.

Politicon 2016 was a great success as far as the political art world was concerned.  The Trump painting 'Unafraid And Unashamed' echoed the success and scale of the Trump campaign across the country.  The Trump painting, on show at Politicon 2016 trounced the liberal opposition expressed in the typical anti-government art and established itself as the painting that most represented American values, vision, hopes and dreams.  It chastised the petty, derogatory and insulting works of other artists by reaching beyond the cynicism and criticism of immaturity to existential dreams and a vision of hope and restoration for the future.

The liberal media could only ignore the painting as a way to minimize its positive impact for the Trump campaign.  Journalists who stood in front of the painting refused to cover the story choosing to ignore the art for fear of it benefiting Trump in any way.

The reactions to the painting were positive by the large throng by and large, even by Trump detractors or others who disliked Trump. Multitudes took their selfies or photos with friends with the Trump painting. One artist had the decency to compliment the painting whilst expressing offense at its content.  But since the painting commands respect whether one likes Trump or not, the only way for the anti-trump media to process the Trump painting was to ignore it completely.  The liberal media would much rather cover controversial works, the blow up Trump kkk doll, the nude Trump painting, the Trump University vending machine etc., that scream insults and epithets and yet are thin on truth rather than cover a vision of hope.
