New Jersey Native Returns to Premiere New Children's Book

NEW YORK - July 6, 2016 - PRLog -- On Saturday, July 9, 2016, Dorothy H. Price returns to her New Jersey roots for a special reading and book signing of her new children's book, Nana's Favorite Things.  From 10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Watchung Booksellers - 54 Fairfield Street Montclair, New Jersey -families will be able to have the author personalize their book and enjoy refreshments after the reading.

Nana's Favorite Things is a picture book for ages 4-7 that highlights the bond between Sasha, a 7-year-old, basketball-loving granddaughter and her young-at-heart Nana, who has diabetes.

"Coming home for my first New Jersey book signing is dream come true! I imagined this day for years and now it is happening," says Dorothy H. Price.

ABOUT DOROTHY H. PRICE

Wife and mother of a girl and boy ages 11 and 6, Dorothy H. Price is a long-time member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and the Charlotte SCBWI critique group. The New Jersey native, now North Carolina resident, is a former English teacher and founder of the Young Authors Program which provides youth with fun, exciting, and imaginative ways to express their voices through writing.
