A Revolutionary Approach to Distributed Valve Manifold Control is Detailed in New Tech Brief
The details are outlined in a new technical brief, "A Revolutionary Approach to Distributed Valve Manifold Control."
The new ASCO Numatics 580 CHARM node, attached to a Numatics 500 Series valve manifold, can interface directly with the DeltaV CHARacterization Module (CHARM) I/O card from Emerson. The 580 CHARM node represents a revolutionary approach to distributed valve manifold control. It can benefit DeltaV S-series users in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, petrochemicals, and food and beverage manufacturing, as well as control skid assemblers.
The technical brief examines the problems with traditional wiring approaches, and explains how the 580 CHARM node leverages the power of DeltaV and Emerson's Electronic Marshalling to deliver full native DeltaV system diagnostics functionality;
