New Line of Tangram Fury Cut-and-Play Tangram Magnets Has Launched

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - July 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Peepsock Press announced today a new line of tangram puzzle magnets, the "Tangram Fury Cut-and-Play Tangram Magnets."  This new line of tangram magnets is in full color and can be used to solve traditional 7-piece tangram puzzles.

Regarding the release of the magnetic tangrams, Doug Nufer the founder of Peepsock Press and inventor of the Tangram Fury puzzle game said, "It's about time!  Until now, we've focused on the foam tangram puzzles that we sell.  Those are limited to the colors that our supplier can provide for us.  With this new product line, we can create a plethora of colors.  We originally thought of offering 5 or 6 colors, but quickly realized that fans of tangrams would enjoy a broader selection of choices.  As a result, this offering includes over two dozen colors and shades."

For Tangram Fury enthusiasts, the colors offered with these Tangram Magnets include "Tangram Fury Blue," "Tangram Fury Green," "Tangram Fury Red," and "Tangram Fury Yellow," which are the same shades of these colors used in the original printing of the competitive puzzle game, Tangram Fury, which was the product that launched the NuFun Games division of Peepsock Press.

Other colors include several shades of the primary colors of red, blue, green and yellow, but also shades of gray, and black and white puzzles for those who want a more traditional look, as well as orange, purple, and browns.

The magnetic puzzles are made of the same material magnetic photos are made of that can be found stuck to refrigerators throughout America and other parts of the world.  One key differentiator for these magnetic tangrams is that there is an "8^th tan" included with the puzzle set.  While a traditional tangram only requires 7 tans, this set includes an 8^th tan because the parallelogram is the only piece that needs to be flipped over in order to solve certain tangram puzzles.  Rather than lose the flow of the colors, the 8^th tan was included already flipped over, for those common occasions when it is necessary.

"These color tangrams make it fun to solve the puzzles," Nufer added.  "You can turn them into mini works of art by adding color to the birds, people, fish, and such, that you want to create.  This is especially true if you mix and match the tangram magnets so that you have a wider range of colors to work with per puzzle.  The website shows examples of color puzzles that can be created.  Frankly, the colors make them even more appealing than the purely black tangrams found in the books and packs.  But, keep in mind that these magnetic puzzles can be used to solve any of the puzzles found in all of those books and packs.  We also have several card decks to choose from with still more puzzles to solve."
