Spectrum Sports Introduces Run Catalina Ambassador Program

CLAREMONT, Calif. - July 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Spectrum Sports Management, the leading Southern California sports management event production agency, is announcing the new Run Catalina Ambassador program. The program is an initiative that is aimed at building upon an already bolstering and engaging running community centered on a multitude of races organized by Spectrum Sports.

"In order to build upon an already growing active lifestyle community, you need to engage people at the ground level," said Mike Bone, Race Director. "The Run Catalina Ambassador program aims to do just that by selecting influencers who are active in their own communities, or are even just fans of the races hosted on Catalina Island to help create an interwoven running community and a partnership that will be mutually beneficial to all involved."

Ambassadors earn points depending on the number of races they promote and participate in. Members are required to participate in at least 4 running related events/races per year. Those points add up to free prizes including boat rides to Catalina Island, hotel accommodations before any races and even a two hour Eco Tour for two guests, courtesy of the Catalina Island Conservancy. Other benefits include 50% off entries to a number of Spectrum's events, exclusive Run Catalina Ambassador gear and even positive media exposure via social media, complimentary magazines, city press conferences and more.

Some of the requirements to being an Ambassador include:

·      Active participation and engagement with Spectrum Sports and Run Catalina's events on social media

·      Answering FAQs from the public

·      Wearing Run Catalina Ambassador gear to sponsored events and races.

These requirements are designed to ensure active participation amongst Ambassadors while maintaining Run Catalina's voice and presence within the community. Submit your application by August 1, 2016 to Katie@spectrumsports.net with "Ambassador Program" in the subject line.
