Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance set to perform at Mets Game

 
QUEENS, N.Y. - July 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The dancers at Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance are going to be performing Saturday, July 9th, at the Mets stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens for Irish night. The school, which is located in Whitestone and Middle Village, both in Queens are excited to represent the borough and their Irish Heritage.

Irish Heritage Night at Citi Field is always a joyous and festive celebration filled with family, friends, drinks, and stellar performances from Irish organizations around and in the metropolitan area. This year, the renowned Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance will be performing. Their talented lineup along with other performances, and the Mets versusthe Washington Nationals will be sure to entertain.

The founder of the dance company comes from a long line of Irish dancing relatives. From the tender age of three, Kelly Fitzpatrick began her Irish dance career and has since danced with some of the best Irish Dancing teachers in America. Kelly is a two-time regional dance champion and has attained both national and international merits throughout her career. She has also won medals in both solo and ceili dancing at the highest level of competition, the All Ireland and World Championships.

Kelly opened the Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance in hopes of creating a new generation of tenacious, passionate, and dedicated dancers. In just three years, the Fitzpatrick Academy has produced incredibly talented and award winning dancers who have reached regional, national, and international levels of competition.
