Meritage Homes Honored with Three 2016 MAME Awards

RALEIGH, N.C. - July 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Meritage Homes Raleigh Division President Lawrence Lane is pleased to announce that the company was honored at the recent 2016 MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) Awards, presented by the Triangle Sales & Marketing Council (TSMC) of the Home Builders Associations (HBAs) of Raleigh-Wake and Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties. The Triangle MAME Awards mirror the National Sales & Marketing Council's Nationals, which have established themselves as the Academy Awards of new homes sales and marketing. Exceptional advertising, merchandising, product design and sales efforts are recognized at this event, having been judged by sales and marketing leaders from across the country. Meritage Homes was presented with the following Gold MAME Awards: Best Television Commercial, Best Model Merchandising for a Detached Home with a Sales Price of $550,001 - $700,000, and Salesperson of the Year.

The 30-second Meritage Homes' Television Commercial celebrates the company's accomplishments through the eyes of the consumer, highlighting recognition as one of the most trusted builders in America, innovations in energy efficient design, Triangle-area neighborhood locations, and 30 years of proven experience.

At 4,070 heated square feet, The Monroe III model home by Meritage at Blaney Farms in Apex was awarded Best Model Merchandising for a Detached Home with a Sales Price of $500,001 - $700,000. Its design style, defined as "transitional glamour," consists of dark mahogany wood finishes with curvy lines that nod to an early American style of timeless elegance. Functionality, formality, and livability are evident throughout the merchandising of the home, priced at $597,500.

Joe McCombes, Meritage Homes' Sales Associate for the Green Home Crossing Community in Cary and Cotten Place Community in Morrisville, was the recipient of the coveted MAME Salesperson of the Year Award. With 72 closed homes for a sales volume of over $22,000,000 in 2015, Joe is one of 18 sales leader members of the Meritage Homes National Advisory Council. He also holds the CAPS (Certified Aging in Place) National Association of Home Builders designation and he is an active member of the HBA of Raleigh - Wake County and TSMC. Joe's career in new home sales spans more than 25 years, with the past five years at Meritage Homes in the Triangle. Prior to moving to North Carolina, he was a Sales Associate with Meritage Homes in Las Vegas.
