BEDFORD, Mass. - July 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Kathy Devereaux was honored at the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) International Homeland Security Conference held in Washington, DC.

Devereaux is Marketing Communications Manager at S4 Inc., a government contractor specializing in Enterprise Information Technology Solutions, Cyber Security, and Advisory & Assistance Services.

AFCEA International is a non-profit association serving the military, government, industry and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, information technology, intelligence and global security.

Devereaux received the prestigious AFCEA Meritorious Service Award for her outstanding contributions to AFCEA's Lexington-Concord Chapter over the past four years.

Specifically, she has served as a key member of the Chapter's "New Horizons" Symposium.  According to Lexington-Concord Chapter President Mary Ann Carlson, "in 2016 she was its 'unsung hero,' devoting countless hours of her personal time to secure sponsorship for this signature event, and helping to net $72K for our Education, Scholarships and Grants programs."
