Cellist Elizabeth Marsh to Perform With Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra

 
LEHI, Utah - July 7, 2016 - PRLog -- This fall, soloist Elizabeth W. Marsh will perform Dvorak's Cello Concerto with the Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra at two concerts opening their 2016-2017 season.

These performances will take place Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Timberline Middle School, 500 W. Canyon Crest Road in Alpine, Utah.  Conductor John Pew will lead the Orchestra as they perform one of the best-loved cello concertos in the repertoire.

"I am really looking forward to performing The Dvorak [Cello Concerto] with John Pew and the TSO," says Marsh. "He has a contagious passion for music and knows how to bring music to life with his fantastic orchestra."

Marsh graduated with a bachelor's degree in cello performance from the University of Southern California in 2008. She has been performing in the Orchestra at Temple Square since 2001, serving as principal cellist since 2012.  The author of Scale Trail Challenge for the Young Cellist, a method book for beginning cello students, she also teaches private cello lessons and coaches local youth orchestras.
