The new Employee Leave Accruals feature allows the company to setup their own accrual rules for leave time and the system calculates the employee leave accruals. The new accrual system is extremely powerful and flexible. It gives users the ability to setup different rules for each leave code whether it is paid or unpaid and can be based hourly, monthly or annually. It also allows the user to determine when the system should start accruing leave by either using the hire date or entering a different start date. The accrual can be done automatically or ran manually. The system will calculate the accruals and add it to the leave balances for the employee.
