Author John J. Zelenski Takes Fictional Thriller to Cinemas
Currently in the pre-production process, Zelenski shares a captivating story in his novel with an enigmatic plot of faith, deception, and horror.
"Walker's Vale" is the story of a man on the run. James Cooper is running from his mistakes, running from his God, and ultimately running from himself. In the process of trying to make a fresh start with his wife and autistic daughter, James Copper runs directly into the twisted face of evil in the small but sinister town of Walker's Vale, Pennsylvania.
"The story was partially inspired by paranormal events I encountered as a child, having then moved into a new home with my family. The novel was born from drawing from some of my own personal experiences. I suppose from one's perspective, Walker's Vale has been in the making since I was a child," shares Zelenski when asked about the inspiration behind his book.
"Everyone has responded extremely favorably to "Walker's Vale." One of the greatest compliments we've heard came from a woman who stated that after reading my book, she decided to recommit her life toward following God. What greater accomplishment can one ask for? Besides being entertained, I feel viewers will be able to experience a sense of renewal based upon forgiveness. Experiencing forgiveness from others is important, but the most vital forgiveness one can ever feel, is the power to forgive your own self," John adds.
"It has helped readers realize the value of forgiveness and to forgive oneself for mistakes made in the past. It is a wonderfully brewed story that takes you into a thrilling story of redemption and suspense," states Charles Callaway, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/
Zelenski has been brewing for years, until finally his pen took to the page to write "Walker's Vale" and its prequel, The Journal of Ezekiel Walker. Watching the seasons change in the breathtaking landscape of Pennsylvania is something he truly enjoys with his wife, Jill, and two children.
Zelenski's hobbies include watching sports, collecting sports memorabilia and keeping up to date on the newest horror films. He has a massive weakness for chocolate chunk cookies and a near reverent respect for Mr. Chuck Norris.
