MIAMI - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- The Addictions Academy has provided over $50,000 in scholarships this year for students to help combat the rampant addiction problems in our country.

The Addictions Academy announced that they have given over $50,000 in training scholarships to students in need, and the year is only half over. With a plan to offer the same scholarship bundles to deserving students next year, The Addictions Academy, LLC has been able to offer training to students that normally would not be able to afford the needed training to combat the drug problem in the United States.

"With the addiction epidemic rampant, it is imperative that training is offered in a timely and affordable manner," Dr. Cali Estes said. "A lot of training programs are very expensive and people just don't have the resources to spend at this time. We are pleased to offer great affordable training and of course scholarships to those in need so more clients are able to benefit from the services."

The Addictions Academy offers 35 plus classes all over the world by online virtual classroom and also self-study portals for those students that need to learn on their own time, uninterrupted. Live classes are taught at the headquarters in Miami and the online learning concept of 'Learn in your Pj's' has been very successful. Students can log on their computer and see and hear the teacher in a live virtual classroom setting. The classes are small and intimate allowing for individualized attention and questions.

"We wanted to create an army of trained individuals that can offer coaching and intervention services at an affordable rate to the general public," Dr. Estes said. "Long gone are the days of paying large cash fees for interventions. With so many people that need services now it is imperative we have more trained individuals on the frontlines to help out. "

The Addictions Academy has provided the $50,000 in scholarship training monies to teachers, Police Departments, Firefighters, EMT's, parents of addicted children and even those that work in nonprofit sectors to offer better services where resources are limited.  The Addictions Academy offers Recovery Coaching, International Master Addictions Coaching, Addiction Counseling, Relapse Prevention, Food Addiction Coaching, Gambling Addiction Coaching, Sex Addiction Coaching and even new classes like Recovery Coaching Supervisor, Harm Reduction Coaching and Post Acute Withdrawal Reduction Education.
