Dine Al Fresco with La Motta's

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Step off the streets of Boston and escape into the newest al fresco dining hidden treasure. Aquitaine Group's La Motta's Italian Specialties, located in Boston's South End, is bringing another piece of Italian culture to Boston with its all new outdoor patio.  Located in a rustic back alley built within exposed brick buildings that house creative types, this space is a rare, intimate find that embodies the ambiance of a Venetian hideaway.

The picturesque 30-seat patio will serve as an addition to the already stunning dining space inside, and will offer La Motta's full dinner and brunch menus.  Chef de Cuisine Justin Winters has added standout summer dishes that include La Motta's new Antipasti options like fresh Bruschetta topped with buratta, sweet onion marmellata and olive oil ($13) or Polpo with Spanish octopus, soppressata and spicy pickled onions ($14). For the main attraction, pasta aficionados will flock to La Motta's flavorful Linguine with Maine crab, chili, Tarragon and buttered crumbs ($28) or Gnocchi with basil pesto, pignoli, green beans and truffle pecorino ($24), while others will enjoy savory entrees like the new Branzino with alla Livornese olives, fennel, cherry tomatoes, chili and potatoes ($29).

To celebrate the newest addition, La Motta's will be shaking, stirring and pouring new refreshing summer cocktails like the Americo made with gin, vodka, fresh lemon, grapefruit liqueur and ginger-beer ($12.25), Paloma with tequila, cayenne, grapefruit and lime ($11.50) and The Prowler with pisco, passionfruit and Aperol ($12.50).

Jeffrey Gates joined the Aquitaine Group a few years later and in 2003, Gates was instrumental in opening Union Bar and Grille and later Gaslight Brasserie du coin, both in the South End. Recognized for his consummate professionalism, extensive wine knowledge, methodical and meticulous approach to business, Gates brings a wealth of experience and an unprecedented understanding of the Boston restaurant scene to the Aquitaine Group.
