DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Tampa on July 21

LOVELAND, Ohio - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Amalie Arena on Thursday, July 21, 2016.  USAA and Hankook Tires will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In August of 2015, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Tampa event connected more than 440 veteran job seekers with 48 exhibitors, including Apple, Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 224 interviews and make up to 67 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 19 events in Tampa, drawing 7,893 attendees and 722 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
