DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Sacramento on July 21

LOVELAND, Ohio - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Aerospace Museum of California on Thursday, July 21, 2016. BlueLine Rental will sponsor the event and it will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In January of 2016, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Sacramento event connected more than 242 veteran job seekers with 28 exhibitors, including Accenture, Kaiser Permanente and The Home Depot. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 187 interviews and make up to 82 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 9 events in Sacramento, drawing 2,840 attendees and 218 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
