BOSTON - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Digital Performance Management software company, Dynatrace, today announced that it has once again been named in Internet Retailer Magazine's Top 500 Guide as the most predominant web and mobile performance monitoring solution provider for the world's top online retailers. With 145 customers topping the list, brands of all sizes put their trust in Dynatrace, including 9 out of the top 10 and 17 out of the top 20 online retailers in the Top 500 Guide.

For the thirteenth year, Internet Retailer has ranked the top 500 online merchants to show the ever-growing impact of the web on U.S. retailers. According to Forrester, 46% of executives believe that in less than five years digital will have an impact on more than half their sales. To stay ahead of the curve, year after year, more leading retailers continue to adopt Dynatrace as part of their overall digital success strategy, which helped retailers in the top 10 protect nearly $167 billion in sales last year. Top customers include some of the world's most well-known eCommerce sites, including Amazon, Walmart, Dell, Staples and Macy's.

"Amazon - ranked No. 1 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide
- continues to grow market share at a record pace. If other online retailers are going to compete effectively with the web leader, they need to do everything they can to give customers the best online shopping experience possible. That includes making sure their websites perform properly," said Stefany Zaroban, Director of Research at Internet Retailer. "Our analysis of performance data provided by Dynatrace reveals that Top 500 merchants' websites load on average in 4.48 seconds. Some experts say the optimal load time is 3.00 seconds, so this suggests Top 500 merchants have some work to do."

"We are honored that so many of the world's top retailers rely on Dynatrace to deliver top-notch digital experiences to their customers who have increasingly high expectations for speed and availability," said John Van Siclen, CEO at Dynatrace. "Brand loyalty is fragile and must be earned -- and amazing digital experiences on both web and mobile are core to that success. With the cloud and mobile, ecommerce is getting increasingly more complex so we are proud to be the digital performance platform of choice for so many household brands."
