"Designing this collection was something I had been thinking about for quite a while," Mary explained. "As a native Texan living in another state, I miss my home terribly at times, so creating these unique pieces and getting to design a few pieces for myself to wear was not only a fun creative process, but it allowed me time to reflect on my childhood home and my journey to becoming the designer that I am today. That reflection time really helped me shape this collection into something simple but impactful. Wearing these pieces keeps me grounded and serves as a gentle, wearable reminder of where I grew up and how I was raised."

Fans of mkw design co. are eagerly awaiting the release of the Remember Your Roots Collection, which officially launches on Friday, July 1st 2016 in mkw design co.'s Etsy shop, www.mkwdesignco.etsy.com. Fourteen different jewelry designs will be available in limited quantities.
