Follow on Google News | South Shore Chamber to host July 19th breakfast with Transportation Secretary Stephanie PollackBy: South Shore Chamber of Commerce The event will run from 7:44 to 9:15 a.m. The Chamber will be releasing its infrastructure priorities for regional economic development at the breakfast. Braintree Mayor Joseph Sullivan, who co-chaired an Infrastructure Working Group for the Chamber, will present a summary of the plan to the Chamber and Transportation Secretary Pollock at the breakfast. The report and morning event is part of the Chamber's regional development project South Shore 2030: Choosing Our Future. "It is not surprising that transportation tops the region's development priorities," Secretary Pollack has worked on transportation policy for years both in and outside of government. She is at the center of Governor Baker's efforts to reform the MBTA and promote economic growth for the state. Admission to the highly anticipated breakfast session is $35 for South Shore Chamber members, as well as all Braintree, Weymouth, Rockland and Marshfield Chamber and South Shore Young Professional membersand $55 for general admission.
