Huntington Beach, CA (June 27, 2016)-Off the Streets-Huntington Beach, the nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless people secure permanent housing, is now celebrating its second year of operations. Simultaneous with its second year anniversary in June, Off the Streets-Huntington Beach placed its 225th client in permanent housing when they helped an Anaheim woman with the security deposit on an apartment.
"These are tremendous milestones for us. To go from a vision of helping the homeless to actually helping this many people in a short amount of time is a blessing for us and for our clients," said Larry Burns, President of Off the Street- Huntington Beach. "We could not have done this without the outstanding work of our volunteers and donors. We are staffed by volunteers, and most of our donations go directly to funding the security deposits and other essentials for those that Off the Streets is helping," said Burns.

"The homeless situation continues in our area, and we are thankful that we have the volunteers, donors, and sponsors to help families, single mothers with children and both single women and single men complete the application process and move out the transient housing they were living in and into permanent housing," said Burns.
